As any good DFW resident does, I had a little birthday dinner at Joe T Garcia’s in Fort Worth with a few close friends, and also got to eat at Del Frisco’s with my hubby and dad last night! It was very delicious :)

Besides that, I had a wonderful “first married birthday” just spending time with my husband. We ate out at our favorite neighborhood restaurant, Breadwinners, and went to a craft show in Fort Worth where Wes found the perfect birthday present for me! A necklace made out of a vintage watch with a lovely blue bird on it….I love it!

The seller was so sweet and you could tell she put her heart and soul into her pieces. She has an Etsy shop called Arrow Sarah. There aren’t that many necklaces listed right now, but maybe after the craft show she will list some more!

Thanks again friends for always being so lovely and wonderful to me – I am truly blessed!

As you can see, the leaves haven’t decided that it’s fall yet here in Dallas, but I loved all of the fall colors they wore in their photos! Fall is my favorite season….

• pumpkin flavored everything
• nice cool weather with the occasional thunderstorm
• homecoming & cuddling up at night football games!!
• fall baking time – yum, yum
• best clothing choices – love cardigans, boots and scarves!
• best colors – mustard yellow and deep purple – love!
• photographing fall sessions – no one’s hot and sweaty (or too cold), and the colors outside are to die for!
• the start of the holiday season – lots of time spent with friends and family

Another thing I love about fall is it just seems so…new. The first day of fall (for me) is the first day I walk outside and the air has that light, fresh feeling. It makes me feel like anything is possible!
