Every print ordered from Amanda Daniels Photography is artistically edited. This means color is corrected, skin is smoothed and eyes are sharpened. Different filters might be added to your photo to give it the perfect look.
Jessica is stunning. Stunningggggg. You can clearly see that in this first photo. However, because the sun was so bright, her dress was washed out in order to properly expose her face. In the second image some of the detail has been brought back. The greens and blues were brightened a bit, and the image was sharpened, which especially makes the horses stand out.
When choosing a wedding photographer, make sure you choose someone who knows how to properly handle and edit your images. Before the “digital revolution” you would have never hired someone to shoot your wedding if they didn’t know how to properly expose and print photos. When your blur of a wedding day is over, the photographs are the only thing you’ll have left (OK, besides your new spouse!), so make sure you hire someone who will treat your wedding with professional care and attention.
I give all of my clients the images I edit for the blog (because I already did the work, so they might as well get to enjoy the benefits!) and any prints ordered through me will be artistically edited before they are printed at a professional lab.
